Rob Campbell was an American stage and screen actor who began appearing on the ABC science fiction drama "The Crossing" (ABC, 2018- ) in 2018. Campbell's passion for acting began in college. In addition to attending Wesleyan University in Connecticut, he also studied acting at the prestigious Yale School of Drama. While attending Yale Campbell appeared in numerous stage productions for the Yale Repertory Theatre, including Shakespeare's "A Winter's Tale." After graduating from Yale, Campbell moved to New York City where he quickly made a name for himself as an actor in various productions on Broadway. In addition to his roles on Broadway, Campbell also appeared in acclaimed productions in Chicago and London, thus further establishing himself as an accomplished theater actor. As his stage acting career was heating up, Campbell also began making a name for himself in films and TV. His first credited film role was in Clint Eastwood's Academy Award-winning western "Unforgiven" (1992). Throughout the 90s he also went on to appear in the films "The Crucible" (1996), "Boys Don't Cry" (1999) and "Let It Snow" (1999). Campbell continued working steadily throughout the 2000s and 2010s, with roles in the highly-acclaimed films "City of Ghosts" (2002), "Rabbit Hole" (2010) and "Winter's Tale" (2014). Having already been a working stage and screen actor for 25 years, Campbell landed the most noteworthy screen acting role of his career in early 2018 when he was cast on the ABC science-fiction series "The Crossing." The series, which starred Rick Gomez and Grant Harvey, premiered on the network in early April of 2018.
